  • My Background

    Born and raised in Columbia, Maryland, I received my BA from Rutgers University. After college I went on to live in Philadelphia for 7 years and received my Masters in Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania. After time living in London and Italy, I moved back to Washington, DC to be closer to my family. I worked as a social worker for 10 years before I decided to follow my dream and become a travel advisor.

     

    Travel has been a lifelong passion for me-- from a summer spent backpacking in Europe with my best friend to a luxury safari honeymoon to a 2-week babymoon in Hawaii to time spent in Mexico at a luxury all inclusive with my husband and new baby-- I love to share with clients that travel can be an integral, wonderful part of life, no matter what stage of life you are in.


    I live in Washington, DC with my husband, Dylan, and our two young sons, Asher and Isaac. We love to travel together as a family whenever possible.

    A "people person" and excellent listener, I take time to get to know my clients so I can create vacation experiences that reflect their lifestyle and preferences. I collaborate with my clients every step of the way. As a clinical social worker I had to be extremely organized, a good advocate and help my clients find resources to enhance their lives. I bring these skills to my travel work and clients. I will do all I can to find the right fit to make a client's vacation perfect. And, as a mother to young children, I have insights about the special requirements of families traveling with kids.

    I'm Experienced

    In addition to my travels in Europe, Africa, South America and Mexico, I've lived abroad in London, Italy and Israel.  Additionally I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and take frequent weekend trips all over the East Coast so come to me for help planning a quick weekend away or a longer, more extensive trip.  I also have a love for good food, spa vacations and skiing!

I've always been the person that family and friends come to for advice when they're looking for a great destination, hotel recommendation or special restaurant. My background as a social worker has given me amazing practice at working hard for my clients. I promise to work hard for each of my clients.
